Emerging from the brief Winter into the enveloping Spring is one of life’s great joys in the Marbella area. The first brush of a light sun-burn from a long beach walk or the rush of blood from stepping into an unheated swimming pool after a vigorous game of panel tennis there is little doubt that the warm season is poised to return.
Every year there is a day, often in mid-April, when the white Almond and the pink Cherry blossom are simply magnificent. Being aware of the Japanese “Hanami” festival, when days of holiday are taken to admire, celebrate re-birth and picnic under ladened bowers of cherry blossom, it was amusing to see a couple taking admiring photos of each other under the beautiful flower-festooned trees on the apron beside IKEA’s store in Malaga. The trees are quite stunning.
This year anecdotal evidence suggests a surge in flight bookings in late March and into April, those weary of being contained are voting with their feet. It is envisaged that this will ramp up with near normal figures being predicted for mid-Summer. Is Marbella part of your future plans?
The findings of the UK’s favourite “A Place In The Sun” online magazine has unequivocally shown that for quite a percentage of the 7000+ questioned that the legacy of the Brexit divorce has not dampened their enthusiasm to become Spanish home owners. With a decent percentage saying that they were making a leap into the Spanish property market earlier than they had intended to.
It is excellent to understand that those who are in a position to make a choice, to site themselves wherever it best suits their ambitions, are seeing the Costa del Sol as a an entirely viable location for their futures. A word of caution as you grapple with the relevant Visa’s that Brits may chose to be regulated under going forward, please seek experienced and expert advice to avoid disappointment. It is entirely feasible to have an almost identical existence in Spain, enjoyed by many for years, but you do need to consider options and receive advice.
After some time for recollection, reflection and restart it may well be that Marbella is able to tick many of your wish list boxes. Marbella is a great location
