We have been talking a lot recently about the resurgence of British property buyers in Spain.

Now, thanks to a recent report from the Registradores de Espana – the local equivalent of the English “Land Registry” – and some excellent forensic research done by the guys at Majorca Daily Bulletin and marketing guru, Alfredo Bloy-Dawson, I can share with you that not only were the Brit buyers the largest non-Spanish buying group – 12.03% of the total – but they purchased within the first three months of 2022, wait for it ……nearly 20,000 properties in Spain.
In the above period, sales on the Costa del Sol saw 33.7% of purchases going to non-Spaniards.

This makes very interesting reading and clearly shows not only are the Brits back in force but they are leading a vanguard of demand that may well top these dizzying height in future quarters reports.
