It comes as no surprise after more than two decades here that I really love living and working on the Costa del Sol. In that twenty plus years we have seem some amazing developments, changes that have challenged the conservatism of more traditional Spain.
One barometer of the world’s interest in the Costa del Sol Is the continued success of Malaga’s “Costa del Sol” airport. Broadly speaking, international access to “AGP” (Malaga airport’s call sign) has never been greater. In addition to a multitude of European routes, the US and Middle East are serviced by some seasonal and some year round services.

Within a decade the plans and investment are in place to allow direct access to over 200 cities worldwide from “Malaga Costa del Sol”.
Here is an excellent piece from Daryl Finch in “Sur in English” that dovetail’s with London’s “World Travel Market” where our home has taken promotional screen’s in Piccadilly Circus to beam the message that the Costa del Sol is open for sustainable and “quiet” tourism.
