Do you have a favourite Marbella beach?

Gecko Towers

Reading reports of the 15th anniversary celebrations at Google Map’s “Street View” it got me thinking. The famous La Malagueta beach, in Malaga City, was announced as one of the fourth most searched for place in the whole of Spain.

The Marbella Municipality stretches from, in the East, Puerto Deportivo (the Sporting Port) in Cabopino to luxurious enclave of Guadalmina in the West. Around 37 km (23 miles) separates these two points but between them they boast not only some of the finest areas to vacate or to own a property but also some of the most picturesque, tranquil and awesome beaches of the Mediterranean.

So I am starting an online opinion poll. I am seeking to identify which of all the Marbella beaches is the favourite. To successfully accomplish this I really do need the support of my loyal readers of this blog.

I also need you, please, to spread the word with your friends and relatives who will want to support their favourite beach and seek to recognize its prominence. I really do want this to be as representative as possible.

The big question for you today is which is your favourite Marbella beach and why?

Please connect with me on the various media – set out below – with the details of your favourite beach, those elements that you really enjoy about the beach you have nominated – the chiringuito, the water sports, the quality of the sea, the sand etc. – and share with me. I will aggregate all replies and apply a rating to each beach I visit. Over to you!

Let me declare an interest. I have no “dog in this fight”. I have some favourite beaches but my preferences will not affect the result. This is intended to be a genuine poll featuring the tastes and discernment of our loyal readers.

During the upcoming summer I will be conducting some arduous research to carefully scan Marbella’s beaches – and there are over twenty that will be require extensive research – for those little joys that set one apart from another. I anticipate that this will require several episodes of reports on MarbellaPropertyLawyers blog but by the end I hope to announce the Top 5.
